Brevifolia Consulting offers a full suite of advisory services to First Nations, communities and governmental institutions and supports/manages initiatives and projects related to:
Brevifolia Taxus is the Pacific Yew. It grows slowly and inconspicuously in the shade of large softwood species, and thus generally escapes logging. Its beautiful, hard wood was used by First Nations for bows and fishhooks, while its needles and bark have medicinal properties.
Ubiquitous in the Kootenays, it symbolizes the hardiness and ingenuity required to strive in a changing, uncertain world.
Brevifolia was founded in 2017, by Julien Lafaille.
